“Before coming to this camp, I had never seen a place where young people are listened to. I used to feel like I had no future, but now I know I have something valuable to offer. I learned how to plant vegetables, talk to others in peace, and believe in myself.”
The Camp for Peace Liberia Camp continues to be a transformative space where young people learn, grow, and overcome the challenges they face in daily life. Despite limited resources, our camp welcomed dozens of youth from vulnerable communities to engage in hands-on learning and leadership development.
Through storytelling, group discussions, and practical workshops in creative arts, the camp provided a safe and empowering environment for participants to reconnect with education, build friendships, and gain critical life skills.
One camper, David (age 16), shared his experience:
“Before coming to this camp, I had never seen a place where young people are listened to. I used to feel like I had no future, but now I know I have something valuable to offer. I learned how to plant vegetables, talk to others in peace, and believe in myself.”
These stories remind us why your support matters. Every contribution helps us reach more youth like David, equipping them not just with knowledge, but with hope and confidence.
Thank you for standing with us and for believing in the power of education, even in the most challenging settings.
