This project with $1000 will make 12,000 hand washing tablet of soap made locally by volunteers and distributed freely to 3000 poor households in rural community which each household will receive 4 tablets to last for a month. This approach has a potential to stop the spread of he corona virus in the community who due poverty may not have the soap for hand washing. Hand washing with soap has proved to be one of the effective way to curb the spread f the virus and personal contracting it.
In the wave of COVID-19 many poor households face big challenge of having soap for hand washing. Most of these households and individuals struggle to have soap for their clothing and bathing so soap to use for hand washing will not available to help in curbing the corona virus. The poor community in the rural will have difficult to control and prevent themselves from contracting the disease.
This project will solve the problem by engaging in making cheap local soap by our volunteers and be distributed freely to poor households. With $1000 will be able to produce 12,000 tablets of soap and to be distributed to 3000 households with each household getting 4 tablets of soap to be used for a month for hand washing. This will contribute significantly to control spreading of corona virus.
The long -term impact of the project is that more than 15000 people will be helped from contract the deadly disease of COVID-19. This in turn will result into health and well being of the people in the community.
