As Uganda continues to respond to the Ebola outbreak, communities are demonstrating remarkable resilience and determination. Health workers, volunteers, local leaders, and families are working together to prevent new infections and support those affected by the crisis.
Our project continues to focus on community education, hygiene promotion, and support for vulnerable households. Through awareness campaigns and engagement activities, we are helping communities understand that Ebola can be controlled when prevention measures are followed and suspected cases are reported quickly.
In addition to immediate response efforts, we are investing in long-term preparedness by strengthening community knowledge and building local capacity to respond to future health emergencies. These efforts will leave a lasting impact beyond the current outbreak.
