Dear all Alhassan Foundation’s friends, believers & supporters,
It’s your success too our faithful donor! We were able to provide over than 100 active wheelchairs for paraplegic Egyptians & over than 20 power wheelchair for quadriplegic till the moment.
During the past few years we were trying to find the most efficient alternatives for wheelchair users in Egypt. Before Alhassan Foundation steps up and provides this pivotal product for wheelchair users in Egypt, the traditional wheelchair was the only option available for wheelchair users. This old hospital wheelchair was giving its users pains, soars, and health issues due to its inefficiency.
The customized wheelchairs that we provide currently to our wheelchair users in Egypt are light, efficient, and tailored made to fit the person’s weight, height, and health conditions. This wheelchair changed their lives totally; it helped them go to their schools, workplaces, and walk around easily.
One of these wheelchair users told us that she felt like she is flying after setting on this active wheelchair and it gave her self-esteem. One of our wheelchair users described to us how this wheelchair changed his life to be away better, and how it made him more optimistic and energetic. This wheelchair helped him move around in his house and help his kids also it helped him to accompany them to their schools easily then go to his work.
We are trying to have better deals as well with other suppliers to provide better and more cost-efficient services to kids & adults. In our future plans we are planning to build a small plant to import and collect this wheelchair parts to produce the final product s in Egypt, which will save huge costs.
