Dear all Alhassan Foundation’s friends, believers & supporters,
Enjoy the fact that with every wheelchair that you donate its value (which is around $3000), you are saving another wheeler's life..You are literally improving his/her quality of life, protecting them from numerous health issues, and helping them overcome their mobility issues.
These customized wheelchairs are tailored made for each case based on his/her weight, height, health condition, and needs. It’s made with medically approved materials, and components. It’s also provided with cushions to resist pressure sores & any possible skin irritation. Riding this efficient light-weighted wheelchair made wheelers’ daily lives so much easier; consequently that improved their self-esteem and physical independence.
In 2018 alone during the last few months, we provided over than 50 customized wheelchairs so far and willing to provide more and more this year and exceed last year's record. Our dream is to provide this efficient wheelchair to each and every wheelchair user in Egypt to make their life easier and help them live the life of the Differently Abled person not like a disabled person.
As we have introduced the customized wheelchair concept in Egypt for the 1st time less than 6 years ago, we also have the one & only maintenance workshop for customized wheelchairs. Not only that, but also we provide electric wheelchairs for Quadriplegia cases and adjustable wheelchairs for kids to fit their age & condition.
