Cycle Kosovo for Children is an annual cycling event started in 2014 where 50 cyclists cycle around Kosovo, covering 500 km and 7,000 meters of climbing. The event aims to raise funds for purchasing medical equipment for healthcare institutions in Kosovo. This year marks the tenth anniversary of the event, with proceeds supporting the Pediatrics Clinic at the Main Hospital in Istog. This milestone signifies a decade of committed efforts to enhance the well-being of children in Kosovo.
Because of the lack of critical medical equipment, Istog Hospital couldn't deliver essential healthcare to infants, leading to them being deprived of crucial benefits.
By liaising with hospital management and doctors, we identified the shortages in medical equipment and endeavored to provide them, with the goal of ensuring that more babies receive the rightful assistance they deserve.
These essential medical equipment are anticipated to offer enduring benefits, potentially aiding thousands of babies in years to come and ensuring ongoing support for infant healthcare needs in the community.
