Thanks to the generosity of our cyclists, donors and supporters, the 12th edition of Cycle Kosovo for Children raised funds to help improve care for children at the Pediatric Clinic in Prishtina.
From June 18 to 21, cyclists completed a journey of approximately 500 kilometres across Kosovo to raise awareness and support for children receiving treatment in the clinic’s Intensive Care and Endocrinology units.
Through GlobalGiving, the campaign raised $553. These funds will be combined with approximately €16,000 raised through other channels and used toward the purchase of essential medical equipment identified in cooperation with the Pediatric Clinic.
Although the campaign did not reach its full fundraising goal, every contribution will help address priority equipment needs and strengthen care for children in critical condition and those living with diabetes. The equipment has not yet been purchased, and AMC is continuing to coordinate with hospital leadership to confirm the most urgent needs within the available budget.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who cycled, donated, shared the campaign or helped organize the event. Your support brings us closer to a future in which every child in Kosovo can receive safe, timely and high-quality medical care.
As this GlobalGiving campaign comes to an end, Action for Mothers and Children will continue working with healthcare institutions and partners to identify gaps and mobilize support for women and children across Kosovo.
Thank you for being part of this effort.
