Care is one of the most powerful forces in a child’s life.
In Tororo District, the daily provision of meals is a clear and consistent expression of care.
For over 1,600 children, this care is felt deeply. It tells them that they are valued, that their well-being matters, and that their future is worth investing in.
This emotional impact is just as important as the physical nourishment.
Children who feel cared for are more likely to engage, to trust, and to believe in themselves.
They approach school with a different mindset—one that is open, hopeful, and motivated.
