Strengthening the Bond Between Home and School
In Tororo District, the relationship between home and school is becoming stronger than ever before.
Parents are no longer distant from the learning process—they are active participants. Through regular communication with teachers and involvement in school activities, families are gaining a deeper understanding of their children’s education.
School feeding has played a key role in this transformation. Parents see the impact of meals on their children’s performance and attendance, and this encourages greater engagement.
Many parents now ensure their children attend school regularly because they see the benefits firsthand. Some contribute food items when possible, while others support awareness efforts in their communities.
This growing partnership strengthens the entire education system.
Children benefit from consistency between home and school, which reinforces learning and stability.
Your support is helping bridge this gap, creating a stronger, more connected environment where children are supported both at home and in school.
