Daily Nutritious Lunch to Rural School Children

Dear Donor,

More than 400 children in a rural primary school in Tororo District have dreams for their future. Some dream of becoming teachers, health workers, engineers, farmers, leaders, and professionals who can transform their communities.

But before a child can fully pursue a dream, they need the strength to learn.

Thanks to your wonderful support, Development Alert has distributed food items that will help provide nutritious school meals for over 400 learners throughout a complete school term.

This intervention is particularly important because school meals are not provided consistently in all primary schools in the region. For children from families experiencing economic hardship, going through a long school day without food can become a serious challenge.

Your generosity is helping remove one of those barriers.

Each meal will give children the energy to sit in class, listen to their teachers, participate in activities, and remain engaged throughout the school day. It will also bring relief to families who care deeply about their children's education but may struggle to provide sufficient food every day.
