In 2017 your donations helped us help provide life saving danger to safety relocation for 14 abuse victims. Whether airline tickets, bus tickets or taxi fares, without support, these victims would have not been able to escape abuse.
Mandy and her daughter Silvie were two victims you helped escape Mexico. Mandy fled in the middle of the night with Silvie while her abusive husband slept. We had arranged a taxi to meet Mandy & Silvie at a designated area. From there, the taxi took them to a Western Union where we had wired money for bus tickets. Then the taxi took them to the bus station.
It was a long 36 hour bus ride, but they made it to Mandy's parents house, happy to be safe.
