We don't often hear the long term outcome of the families we help. But a battered mother and her now adult children that we helped 17 years ago recently sent us a photo of themselves when we helped them escape, and a current photo.
Her children are all grown up and thriving and she is also happy and successful!
Her note was very emotional for us. And even though she was thankful for us, we are thankful for you.
It is the donations we receive on GlobalGiving that enable us to provide crisis services every day to American battered mothers and their children.
While we can't show you their photos for privacy purposes, we did include a photo that replicates the joy they have in their photo and their lives because of your support.
