Bobbi contacted us by email. Bobbi is the daughter of Faith. They had been living in the UK for several years. Our Pathways advocate had multiple email communications from Bobbi who was emailing on behalf of her mother who was being abused by her father.
Finally Faith found the courage to communicate directly with us using Bobbi's email. Faith's husband did not allow Faith to have her own phone or email account. He even monitored the phone calls Faith had with her mother in the USA.
We safety planned with them to get them away from the abuse. Covid complicated an already challenging escape plan, but they made it home safely because of donors like you.
