Niza, Greta's mother, has never seen Greta as happy as she has been since escaping back home to the USA and seeing snow for the first time.
Here is part of a message to us from Niza.
"Greta is so happy. I can't get her to come inside the house. She just wants to play outside in the snow.
I hope she never realizes just how much danger we were really in before fleeing. When her father threatened to kill us I had almost lost hope. I was so afraid of him, the fear paralyzed me. I know that without you beside me step by step I may not have been able to leave. I will be forever grateful."
