Helping Bethany escape abuse with her son Henry was one of the most challenging danger to safety relocations we have had.
Her abusive husband was connected to an American Embassy in a foreign country overseas. This posed a lot of challenges as he was influential and Bethany feared he would find out if she went to the American Embassy to report the abuse.
Bethany's husband abused her while she was pregnant with Henry and the abuse had only gotten worse. He had threatened to harm Henry and Bethany couldn't stand the thought of her son being abused.
An opportunity arose when Bethany's abusive husband had to travel to another part of the country for a meeting. We were able to help Bethany get on a plane with Henry and come home.
Bethany's abusive husband is furious. We have been able to secure a legal consultation for Bethany so she will have the best change of living her life in the USA free from abuse with Henry. She is just so grateful to be home and safe!
