Claire was living in Morocco with her husband and two daughters Aria and Ella for a year when she called us. Her husband had become so emotionally abusive since they moved to Cassablanca for his job and when it turned physical she knew she needed to get out and come back home. Claire did not want Aria and Ella to grow up thinking calling someone names and screaming at them was normal. Even though the girls didn't see their father hit their mother, Claire didn't want to risk the girls being further traumatized.
Claire worked with one of our case managers, Pamela. Pamela was able to help Claire secure airline tickets for herself and the girls and they flew back home just last week. They will be staying with Claire's parents through the holidays.
Supporters like you that care about safely getting battered American women and their children home to the USA enable us to do this life saving work! Thank you. The AODVC Team
