Despite attempts at peace talks, fighting continues across Sudan and has turned into genocide in Darfur. The situation is absolutely heart-breaking.
With health care having broken down across the country, the First Aiders and Midwives you have helped us train in our rural villages really are saving lives.
Our First Aiders are able to treat ailments and prevent small problems becoming a catastrophe in the middle of the desert.
Our Midwives could not be more needed. They are providing desperately needed support to women during pregnancy and childbirth and are saving lives of mothers and babies on a daily basis.
And more people are constantly flocking to our Kids for Kids' villages for medical attention.
Our villages are becoming overloaded and in dire need of additional support.
Please can you help us train and support more First Aiders and more Midwives where they are most needed?
It costs £400 to train a First Aid worker in our villages.
It costs £2000 to train a midwife, including medical kit, uniform and leather sandals. And we train two Midwives in each of our villages so they can provide cover for each other.
Please could you contribute towards this cost and help us save lives across Darfur?
The children and families struggling to survive amidst the warfare are desperate for our help - and we can't do it without you. Thank you so much for all your support.
