You will have seen that Sudan has now reached the mainstream news, coming into the eyes of the world as the horrors of the past three years continue. But children have been suffering for years, malnourished, surviving on just one scant meal a day.
Kids for Kids is the only organisation getting aid right now to families in the villages in rural Darfur. You can make a difference in a child's life today by donating Kids Kitchen Kits, Blankets, Mosquito Nets, Medicines, and Goats for Milk. These communities are receiving no other help. Please can you make a donation today?
NOTE: Please mark your calendars now for GivingTuesday - 2nd December. Your donations via GlobalGiving will be boosted for 36 hours - so tell your friends!
Thanks to your help, over 35,000 children have been able to eat from our Kids Kitchen Kits, which have reached our villages providing protein and nutrients to malnourished little ones. Kids for Kids is doing all we can to provide for the safety of families living in our villages - and those who arrive, fleeing from their own homes which have become desperately unsafe. Food continues to be scarce and inflation remains over 85%. We have worked hard to provide food, medicine, mosquito nets and other basic essentials during the worst humanitarian crisis in the world (UN). The result has been 100,000 children who have received help, due to your generous donations.
Last month our volunteers distributed 3,733 Mosquito Nets across 27 Villages in Darfur. We are in awe of their bravery and commitment to reaching families, despite the dangers of traveling around Darfur at the minute. They were also able to deliver sorghum and millet seeds, along with medicine and medical tools for the Health Centre in Mirikhis Village, adopted in 2015.
We are now raising funds to deliver our next round of Mosquito Nets with our project that has been approved to provide 3400 nets across 28 villages. This includes 3,000 nets to 25 villages across North Darfur and 400 nets to three villages in East Darfur. Dor Fazy (adopted in 2014) and Kherban A (adopted in 2006) Villages have both requested for more medicines to be delivered to their respective Health Centres, so that they can continue to help families locally.
Please can you donate for Medicines and Mosquito Nets today?
Keep a Family safe during the World's Worst Humanitarian Crisis.
