Your contributions have made it possible to fund activities, services, equipment, and experiences that might not be possible through Washington School for the Deaf (WSD) funding alone, such as: Mini-grants for enrichment projects developed and conducted by the WSD staff Uniforms & equipment for boys' and girls' team sports Uniforms, equipment, & travel expenses for Special Olympics Travel & lodging expenses for the students to attend national and state level academic and athletic competitions

Funds from Deaf Education Advocates Foundation will support WSD to provide a 24 hour learning environment that encourages students to communicate freely, grow emotionally & socially, and achieve higher standards.
Funds from Deaf Education Advocates Foundation will assist WSD reduce the significant communication barriers and socio-economic disadvantages faced by Deaf and Hard of Hearing students and boost graduate employment opportunities.
