Hello! I am Sergio, Coordinator of the Project Defend LGBTI+ Rights for 5000+ People in Paraguay. This is a brief summary of Pride activities led with SOMOSGAY to support the implementation of this project up to date.
Following the donation drive for Indigenous communities in Villeta during the first and second quarters, we focused on organizing Paraguay's main LGBTI+ Pride event in June.
This year, we gathered for the 2026 edition of the SOLIDARY PRIDE PARADE; as we do every year, we called upon communities across Paraguay to join us in advocating for our rights and celebrating our dignity by helping those most in need.

Building on this legacy and guided by the Guaraní principles of Tekoporâ, this solidarity manifested in 2026 through the participation of over 3,000 people in the SOLIDARY PRIDE FAIR. Communities, collectives, and associations offered various products and services, directly benefiting more than 37 families across both regions.
The SOLIDARY PRIDE PARADE provided direct assistance to the Takuapu Mirî Indigenous Community in the Villeta district and the Artista Roga Community Center in the Bañado Sur neighborhood of Asuncion.
