As the coronavirus pandemic has taken fatal hold in Nigeria, we have acted. We are providing coronavirus preparedness training and donating tens of thousands of gloves, masks, soap, sanitizer and disinfectant to hundreds of nurses and traditional birth attendants, as well as to our partner hospitals and clinics in southeast Nigeria. We seek to help the Helpers and protect them and their pregnant patients and newly delivered babies. In the weeks and months to come, we will continue these donations and trainings.
We also will provide tablets preloaded with hundreds of books to Nigerian children quarantined in their villages without access to anything to engage them mentally.
