We continue to build out our network of maternal and family centers in southeast Nigeria. Three of our solar-powerd centers are in operation, with one (the Zegar-Jackson Family Center) opening in mid-November, and the final one (the Robin and Estelle Clarke Family Center) to open by Christmas.
We also continue to screen and treat vulnerable pregnant women for anemia every day and provide safe delivery "mama kits" to 45 rural clinics. We also funded the construction of a new a Meeting Hall at Brightland Academy, one of our partner schools in southeast Nigeria.
We also celebrated our first in-person event since October 2019. Our "Family Reunion" Hollywood Gala took place on October 29, 2021 and was one of our most exciting, inspiring and financally success events to date.
