Sadly, this is a reality for many families around the world. At PAN, our mission is to improve the quality of life of these people by providing more than 5,000 nutritional packages every month to children and families living in remote communities. Our purpose is to ensure that every person has the right to access food.
When a family lacks access to adequate food something that is essential and even a human right that void is felt deep in the heart and significantly hinders physical, emotional, and social development. This is harmful to all family members, but especially to children and adolescents, because it limits their abilities and opportunities both now and in the future, perpetuating poverty within their families and communities.
By ensuring that they have consistent and dignified access to nutritious food, we can help make it stop being a daily worry and instead become a solid foundation for building a future with more opportunities. Because when food is no longer a concern and becomes a time to spend with family, it helps them dream, take care of themselves, enjoy their childhood, and build a better future.
