Challenge

Over 120 armed groups (e.g., M23, ADF) fight for territorial power in eastern DRC, driven by proxy regional warfare and control over vast mineral wealth (cobalt, coltan, gold). Governance Breakdown Decades of weak state presence, systemic corruption, and an under-resourced national army leave civilians unprotected and vital infrastructure nonexistent.

Solution

Immediate Survival: Delivers basic food, clean water, and emergency shelter to keep millions of displaced civilians alive. Disease Control: Deploys mobile health clinics to stop cholera and Mpox outbreaks in overcrowded camps. Protection: Provides safe spaces, medical treatment, and legal aid for conflict-affected women and children. Self-Reliance: Distributes seeds, farming tools, and cash grants so families can feed themselves and reduce aid dependence.

Long-Term Impact
