First of all, we want to thank all those people that have helped our project to be developed in communities at risk this past April. We are very excited to share with you all of the achievements, activities, good news among other results.
Did you know?
BWAB has worked for 5 years in youth women´s development through “Girls Group” in “El Triangulo” with participants between the ages of eight and eleven and the last year it began in Los Cuadros de Guadalupe. These girls have the following goals:
• 52% of girls have no fear to study at the university.
• 75% want to learn typing.
• 94% consider their future as a priority.
IBM´s volunteers participate in BWAB programs.
Last April 5th, some volunteers from IBM Company participated in several of the NGO´s programs in “El Triángulo”.
In the morning, they studied with children and helped them with their homework, exams and other assignments. In the afternoon, they played soccer and practiced cheerleading with them. Both activities were in Tibás and the kids were very excited to share with them .
BWAB is very grateful for the support provided by IBM.
If you want to learn more about our activities, we invite you to read our monthly newsletter and see our Facebook, Web Site and You Tube.
