Luz, a 13-year-old, has been a member of El Niño y La Bola Foundation since the pandemic began. For her, this organization has become much more than just a place for educational support; it feels like a second family.
Throughout her time there, the Foundation has assisted her in various aspects of her life. They have offered help with her homework and classes, always delivering support with patience, warmth, and genuine smiles.
Beyond academics, Luz has received substantial emotional support. In her toughest moments, when she needed it most, there was always someone available to provide a kind word, thoughtful advice, or simply a listening ear.
The small groups she has participated in have taught her not only new skills but also personal growth. She has learned to trust others, express her feelings, and collaborate as a team. Through these experiences, Luz has realized that there are people who help selflessly, expecting nothing in return. Today, she feels more confident and content, knowing she is not alone.
Each year, the Foundation has also provided her with school supplies, significantly easing the burden for her family and many other children in the community. The friendships she has formed there are genuine, consistent, and unconditional—a gift she cherishes deeply.
Luz was raised with the belief that God is always present, and she is convinced that He operates through the incredible volunteers connected to this Foundation. She expresses her sincere gratitude to everyone who plays a role in bringing El Niño y La Bola to life, including you as a cherished donor, as this team and movement have had a significant impact on her life.
