Youth banks of initiatives are an international model of involving young people in public activity. With its help, young people get the opportunity to independently implement projects, conduct fundraising campaigns, learn communication and networking. By participating in our project, these young people will gain the skills, resources they need for the development of their communities, formation of philanthropy in communities. This's how we'll be able to grow a community-builders and changemakers
Due to the war, little attention is paid to young people, supporting their initiatives. Many young people have left their homes, some can't attend school because of shelling. But youth are changemakers who will rebuild the country after its victory. We understand that young people do not get enough skills, knowledge and connections, so rebuilding will be a big challenge for them. In order to prevent this from happening, we want young people to become a driving force in their communities.
Thanks to this project, young people will be involved in public activity. Through implementation of their own projects and initiatives, fundraising campaigns, events, communications and networking, they will gain more knowledge, better understanding of the processes of state formation, learn to mobilize own local assets, and will have an impact on life in their own communities. So youth will contribute to development of communities restoration and will be driving force of local philanthropy.
Leadership development and input in youth will have a decisive impact on the recovery of Ukraine. In the long term, young people who have learned to take responsibility for their communities and settlements will expand their work and contribute to the improvement of life in all of Ukraine. It is changemakers, community builders and people who know how to take responsibility (that is, leaders) who will be able to lead Ukraine to reconstruction and a Western-oriented future.
