A short update to share how support like yours adds to long-term success.
Across Southeast Asia, education systems are struggling to keep pace with rapid digital transformation while inequalities deepen. In Vietnam, young people from disadvantaged backgrounds—especially in rural and ethnic minority communities—face persistent barriers to education and employment. At the same time, companies face a shortage of job-ready IT professionals due to a mismatch between academic training and industry needs.
Digital skills offer a powerful pathway out of poverty. IT graduates in Vietnam are far more likely to access stable, well-paid employment, making youth digital training a critical lever for both social inclusion and economic growth. However, women remain under-represented in the tech sector, highlighting the need for more inclusive approaches.
Passerelles Numériques Vietnam (PNV), established in Da Nang in 2010, addresses these challenges through a proven, holistic model. PNV provides a fully funded, three-year IT vocational program for underserved youth aged 17–24, covering all living and education costs. Its industry-aligned curriculum combines technical training (web and mobile development, software testing) with English and professional skills. Graduates earn both a national diploma and an internationally recognized PN certificate, ensuring strong employability.

These outcomes show that PNV changes individual lives and transforms families and communities. Many graduates are the first in their families to access higher education and formal employment. Their income helps lift entire households out of poverty, repay debts, improve housing conditions, cover medical expenses and finance siblings’ education. Many also give back through charitable local activities, acting as role models for younger generations.
