Summary

On our DsN farm in Giurgiu, Romania we are currently taking care of 251 dogs and 40 cats. There are dogs that are restricted in many European countries, so we keep them on our farm and take care of them. Those souls need a safe space to live a peaceful life. Unfortunately, their current kennels are in very bad condition, they need new kennels - especially before cold Romanian winter begins! That's why we will build 11 new kennels for them which takes times, energy and costs a lot of money.

Challenge

There are hundreds of thousands stray animals on the streets of Romania. DsN rescues them and takes care of them on our farm in Giurgiu, Romania. Since it's not allowed to transport some specific dog breeds into other European countries, we can't relocate some of our farm dogs to new families. They are taken care of on our farm for their whole lives. Otherwise, they will live on the streets abandoned and starving. But their old kennels are dilapidated and need to be rebuild urgently.

Solution

Those specific dog breeds on our farm need a safe space to live in and to feel home. Some of them can live in pairs but some of them are more difficult characters that need to be alone in a kennel. With building 11 new kennels we will provide the needed space for all those dogs. It gives them a space to retreat and to live a secured life on our farm where we can take care of them.

Long-Term Impact

With your help we will be able to build new and stabile kennels for our specific dog breeds on our farm. We have already found a lot where we can rebuild 11 kennels which will provide a home for all our restricted breeds. Since those dogs are never going to live in new families, they will spend the rest of their lives in these kennels. We want to build robust new kennels that will provide a long-term safe home for those souls on our farm.
