Ilavarasan, ten years old, is Mallika's son. They belong to the Malayali tribe residing in the remote villages in the reserve forests of Pachamalai hills in Tamil Nadu. He is a specially-abled child. Since both of his parents are tribal peasants, they could not afford medical attention catering to his unique needs. This project aims to provide shelter for Ilavarasan at a care center in Tiruchirapalli, the nearest city, to support his medical expenses, education, and vocational training.
