Dear Supporter,
Life is full of challenges however overcoming our challenges does truly make life more meaningful.
Kate is an 8-year-old girl with Down syndrome. She lives with her mother, and sadly is all too often the case with such vulnerable families, she has no father.
The family does not have a house of their own, they rent a room. The mother is employed as a personal assistant for the little girl. They are struggling with material insufficiency all the time. The mother was diagnosed with cancer, more than one year she is fighting the disease, doing many treatments. Thankfully at present her condition has improved.
The family are in desperate need of material support to help them go from one day to another without the fear of having nothing to eat, and we are currently raising funds to help this family.
Kate loves to attend school, and she is accompanied by her mother. She is a very sociable girl, smiling all the time, talkative and most of all she likes to sing and dance.
The Tony Hawks Centre,Moldova provides free rehabilitation courses consisting of massage, physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, music therapy and food parcels. Recently Kate received a pair of orthopaedic shoes for her birthday. She was very excited and thankful.
Thanks to your kind donations Kate can hope for a better future.
With your support we are changing real lives.
Thank you
