Dear Supporter,
Tony Hawks Centre, Moldova offers life transforming therapies for children with physical disabilities. It is a medical social centre which was established on moral grounds 20 years ago.
We would like to underline the work of our specialist in child psychology, Lydia.
She is a graduate of Theological Seminary. She has loads of experience in working with women. Lydia was an enormous help to families with disabled children during the quarantine who experienced a variety of emotional and psychological problems.
Also, during quarantine Lydia assisted those who needed psychological help and mainly worked online or over the phone. She called all our patients and was the first to find out about their problems.
Using her experience and the word of God, she brought harmony and peace to many families. In this difficult time disabled teenagers were most affected. Lydia worked with the most difficult cases.
She assists about 15 people through online during her 3-day working week. Lydia's arrival has had a pleasant effect on Tony Hawk’s team and has united us in fulfilling our tasks.
During difficult times we are blessed to have people who inspire our team and support children and their families. On 2020 the Centre offered 6.528 therapy sessions (1633 remotely and 4895 in person).
This would not have been possible without your kind support.
Thank you.
