Disability therapies for 1,300 children in Moldova

Tony Hawks Centre in Moldova is staffed by a dedicated team of qualified paediatric therapists with various specialisms, supporting children with disabilities such as cerebral palsy. They combine multidisciplinary rehabilitation with parental education to help promote each child’s integration into society. Ultimately, it is an aim of the program to maximize the potential of the child for the future development of their young bodies in the future.

The program also provides a range of activities to support the development of children and their families, including workshops, seminars, and social gatherings. The centre works with a variety of professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children and create a safe, supportive environment.

Recently the children at The Tony Hawks Centre, Moldova, celebrated Children's Day with a special celebration organized for them.

The children laughed, played games, and had a chance to forget about their problems for a while. Through your support, ChildAid is able to provide opportunities such as this to children with disabilities (many of whom are from low-income families). More than 80 children played and danced with the clowns and received gifts.

The centre focuses on providing individualized care to each child to ensure that their individual needs are met. They also provide access to resources such as therapy and counselling services. They strive to create an environment that allows children to reach their full potential.
