We are pleased to share that this project has made encouraging financial progress toward its $18,500 funding goal. Support from donors is helping lay the foundation for large-scale menstrual health support for vulnerable girls in Nigeria. Funds raised so far are being directed toward the procurement of raw materials, training of women-led cooperatives for local pad production, and planning logistics for school-based distribution.
Financial contributions are also enabling the preparation of menstrual health education workshops that will accompany pad distribution. As additional funding comes in, we will scale production to ensure each of the 600 girls receives 8 reusable sanitary pads, while also creating income opportunities for women involved in manufacturing.
Every donation moves us closer to reducing school absenteeism, protecting girls’ health, and promoting dignity through sustainable menstrual care. Continued support is essential to fully meet the project target and maximize impact.
