We are a registered charity who rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs (mainly border collies). We are based in Wales, UK. Our dogs live, play and have fun together in large packs. Many of our dogs were due to be put to sleep from their owners after having no where else to turn. Many were rejected from other rescues. We have around 100 to 130 dogs. The majority are Collies or Collie crosses.
We have usually around 100 to 130 dogs at the rescue in Wales. We need to ensure that their food is funded. Dogs are fed a mixture of dry food kibble, wet canned food or raw food depending on their needs. With on average around 110 dogs at the rescue at any one time, each dogs costs an average of 1 a day to feed. Along with dog food costs, there are many other costs associated, such as vet bills etc.
We are hoping to raise enough funds to cover a years worth of dog food for all the dogs to ensure we dont need to worry about their basic requirement of food.
We really hope to raise enough funds to cover the dogs food bill for a year to help our fundraising. We have many costs to cover for the dogs. Food is the most important necessity. We do also have other costs, such as expensive vet bills, neutering costs, medication etc.
