Pakistan is facing a severe poverty crisis, with nearly 47% of the population living below the poverty line. Pakistan is experiencing a deep economic crisis, with nearly 47% of the population living in poverty. Rising inflation, unemployment, and increasing food prices have left millions of families unable to afford nutritious meals. Children, women, the elderly, and daily wage earners are among the hardest hit. Many households skip meals or rely on inadequate diets, leading to hunger, malnutrition, and worsening health and living conditions.
This project will provide 1,000 food packs to vulnerable families across Pakistan, ensuring they receive essential food items such as flour, rice, pulses, cooking oil, sugar, and tea. By addressing immediate food shortages, the project will reduce hunger, improve household food security, and ease the financial burden on low-income families, allowing them to meet their basic nutritional needs with dignity.
By providing 1,000 food packs, this project will improve food security and reduce hunger among vulnerable families. It will help protect children, women, and the elderly from the effects of malnutrition while easing financial pressure on low-income households. Through Alkhidmat Foundation's nationwide network, the project will strengthen community resilience, support healthier families, and encourage long-term community well-being during ongoing economic hardship.
