Dear donor friend.
Today I want to talk to you about a peasant family, located in the first avocado producing municipality for export, El Retiro, Antioquia. There among its mountains is a humble family made up of mother and her two children, one of them Mariana of 12 years, a teenager who, between music, drawing, painting, reading and dancing spends her days inside her house in the company of her brother and her mother and the absence of the father who paid them to know the diagnosis that she and her brother suffer.
Mariana has spent her days playing inside her home, due to the diagnosis of epidermolysis bullosa simplex, which when exposed to the sun causes painful and difficult to heal wounds throughout her body. Since she was a child she has always wanted to share and play like other children of her age, but they do it in the heat of the sun and daylight, this makes her avoid interacting with them.
To treat her condition, Mariana's family has accompanied her in her socialization and recovery process, from the Patronato Foundation we have supported her with specialized consultations of pediatrics, dermatology, exams and medications. Today we want to turn to your generosity so that Mariana can continue to receive the appropriate treatment that allows her to have a better quality of life and better health opportunities.
With your support we will continue to improve Mariana's health!
