In Medellín, within communities marked by poverty, social exclusion, and food insecurity, many boys and girls grow up without the most essential things: proper nutrition, medical care, and opportunities to fully develop.
Faced with this reality, we decided to take action. With the commitment that drives us every day, we carried out a Comprehensive Nutrition Brigade in the Villa Hermosa neighborhood, bringing health, care, and hope to those who need it most.
During this event, 301 children and adolescents received care in nutrition, pediatrics, dentistry, psychosocial support, and physical activity promotion. We didn’t just check health indicators — we listened to stories, supported emotions, and planted seeds for the future.
The findings were also concerning: 38 children were identified with nutritional problems. Behind each diagnosis lies a story — a face, a family striving every day to move forward.
Today, they are receiving ongoing support through medical checkups, educational workshops for their families, food packages, and vitamin supplements. Their recovery requires continuity — and this journey cannot be walked alone.
Thanks to the support of our donors, we continue working so that every child can grow up healthy, strong, and full of hope.
We still need your help to continue this process and ensure that these 38 children can grow again with energy, joy, and hope.
