Rock-Paper-Scissor's Youth String Orchestra

 Dear Friends,

Every summer we take volunteers to Vietnam for four-five weeks to help teach our music teachers and students in our string program. The volunteers help to prepare our summer concert that is given in the small community where we work. Parents, friends and local residents are invited to attend each year, and it is the highlight of the kid’s summer!

While the students were practicing one of our volunteers created this short video. This is for all of you who have dedicated your time and money to donate to our program in Vietnam. We hope that you enjoy it and keep in mind that many of these kids started playing violin or cello only in the last 2-3 years. They are all such dedicated students. Take a moment to watch:

If you are willing, please consider helping us raise awareness and funding by sharing this report this month. Or start your own small  fundraiser for the orchestra by clicking on the “Start a Fundraiser” button on the right hand side of our Global Giving project page! We need to raise $5000 for our music school by the end of December and would love your continued support.

Happy Holidays and thank you again!

Sara and the RPS Community Orchestra!
