This project aims to provide English lessons to 50 girls in Pavas, Costa Rica. Girls aged 9-12 from vulnerable neighborhoods face limited opportunities. Without English, they struggle to access scholarships, high school programs, and future career paths. Today, English is no longer optional-it's essential. Without this program, the gap between potential and opportunity will only continue to grow.
The Problem: Limited Access to English In Pavas, Costa Rica, 90% of students arrive at High School Suri without English skills. Girls aged 9-12 from vulnerable neighbours face limited opportunities. Without English, they struggle to access scholarships, high school, and future careers.
Our Solution: Saturday English Classes - Classes every Saturday for 4 hours, from February to November. - The program will include the use of a digital learning platform and engaging materials so students can build essential computing skills while learning English. - The program will be promoted in local public elementary schools and encourage parental involvement to create a supportive learning environment.
