G-MAP program Is to improve the incomes of the older persons at a grass-root level through equipping them with skills, knowledge and the right information on how to rear profitable exotic pigs at home. The program provides them with animals stricture, Feeds, veterinary services, 24/7 information desk and a good breed of pigs. Through extensive monitoring, we believe that after five months our beneficiaries will have the ability to earn at least 170,000 Ugandan shillings a month
Almost all the most uncomfortable issues affecting the ELDERLY in Uganda and Africa zero down to one thing, and that is POVERTY. We identified LAND GRABBING, LUCK OF FOOD, RAPE, BIG NUMBER OF DEPENDENTS and DISEASES as the most oppressing issues that the older persons face every day in Uganda. Some thing needs to be done and that is the reason for this project.
