What we have been witnessing in the Horn of Africa over the last year is the forefront of climate change. The communities have lived through an unprecedented drought of almost four years with no rainfall, depleting their food supply and causing food prices to rise month on month.
UNHCR is on the ground, providing cash to support resilient refugees and empower them to cope with food insecurity. With this cash, they can finally buy food at the market and feed their families.
