This project is part of Alkhidmat’s long-term commitment to strengthening community infrastructure and social cohesion in underserved regions.

Story / Update

Many communities in remote areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa lack proper facilities for collective worship, education, and social activities. Families often struggle to find appropriate spaces for daily prayers, religious learning, and important events such as Eid prayers, Ramadan programs, Nikah ceremonies, and funeral gatherings.

To address this need, Alkhidmat Foundation has initiated construction of a Community Center in Dir. The center is being designed to provide:

• A dedicated prayer space for daily and congregational prayers
• Facilities for religious education, learning, and training sessions
• Space for community meetings and awareness programs
• A venue for annual and special gatherings, including Eid and Ramadan activities
• Facilities for important community events such as Nikah and funeral ceremonies

With construction now underway, the project marks an important step toward creating a central hub that will promote unity, learning, and mutual support within the community.

Local residents have expressed appreciation for this initiative and are hopeful that the center will soon become a place of spiritual growth, education, and social harmony.
