Dear and respected donors! I trust all is fine with you. You will be glad to know that our project, Drinking Water for 40 Villages of Thar Pakistan is going smoothly and quenching the thirst of hundreds of animals as well as humans of Thar on daily basis. This year there have been no rains in Thar due to which there is drought here which has badly affected the humans as well as animals including beautiful peacocks of Thar. More than 400 children have died due to malnutrition and infections. In this situation there is urgent need of more water wells and food for the people of Thar. In this backdrop the Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) has started providing food packets to the people of Thar and efforts are being made to dig more water wells Particularly in those areas of Thar where there is no water source in order to ensure un-interrupted supply of fresh water to the people as well as animals of Thar. Cultivation of land besides the well has also been started in order to grow fodder for the cattle. The donors are kindly requested to donate generously for more water wells as well as to supply food to the drought hit population of Thar, Pakistan.
