Respected Donors, It gives me immense pleasure to inform you that our project, drinking water for humans as well as animals of Thar is going smoothly and more water wells are being dug which are providing sweet and safe water to the hundreds of people and animals of Thar for daily basis. Most of the wells are being operated with solar panels and submersible pumps. This has resulted in quick supply of water without manual labor. Water wheelos have also been provided to the people of Thar in order to facilitate them for easy transportation of water. Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) now has also started developing green farms besides the wells in order to provide food, wheat, vegetables and fodder for the cattle. This will go a long way in meeting the food requirements of people of Thar and thus saving them from mal-nutrition which has been a main cause of disease and death during the last few years. The management of Customs Health Care Society is extremely grateful to the Donors all over the world for their continuous support for the drought hit population as well as animals of Thar.
