Drinking Water for Humans,Animals of Thar

It gives me immense pleasure to inform you that Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) under its project "Drinking Water for Humans/ Animals of Thar" is striving hard to provide clean and safe drinking water to humans and animals of Thar. Hundreds of safe drinking water wells operated manually or through solar operated panels had already been handed over to locals which are providing safe drinking water to thousands of humans as well as animals on daily basis.

During the last quarter, 10 more water wells have been dug which are being operated through solar panels thus providing 24/7 sweet water to people and animals of Thar. As summers are approaching, CHCS intends to gear up digging of more water wells as, during this time of the year, people of Thar face difficulties in getting water for themselves and for their animals. 

It is, therefore, requested by the donors from all over the globe to donate generously enabling CHCS to meet the demand of providing safe drinking water to the people/ animals of Thar.

It is pertinent to mention that water wells, on one hand, provide safe drinking water to the people and on the other hand, they have also been a source of earning for the people of Thar as a number of people are involved in the digging of the well who are paid a substantial amount as labor charges.

CHCS is particularly thankful to GlobalGiving's Foundation as with this collaboration the message of CHCS reached far and wide across the globe and attracted donors across the globe to donate for the project. CHCS intends to continue the project as long as possible in order to provide safe drinking water to as many humans and animals as possible.
