Respected Donors,
I hope and trust that all of you are happily passing your time. It gives me immense pleasure to inform you that Customs Health Care Society is striving hard to provide sweet, fresh water to the drought hit population of Thar, Pakistan. With your kind help and collboration of Global Giving we have been able to provide drinking water to hundered of people and animals of Thar on daily basis. Till the filing of last report, sixteen well were completed. One more well has been added to the tally.
But this new well is with a new look as a submercible pump with a machine has been added and a tank built near the well. The water from the well drawn with the the pump is stored in the tank. A long plastic pipe has been attached to the water tank through which villagers can fill their water pitchers with water from the well. As is evident from the video now the water from this well is available to the villagers at their door step.
Customs Health Care Society intends to install solar system to draw water from the wells which will give more comfort and relief to the people of the Thar. Moreover the water from the well is also being used to grow plants and vegetables also.
All worthy donors (old / new) are kindly requested to donate generously in order to dig more wells of sweet water for the humans and animals of Thar.
