Many Christian widows and children in Nigeria have lost spouses or parents after attacks on their communities. This project will provide essential medicines and treatment support to these families who face illness and hardship alone. Your gift will bring a medicine kit or cover clinic costs for one person, helping them walk through each difficult day with a little more strength and dignity.
Violent attacks on Christian villages have left countless widows and orphans without their primary caregivers. They often live in displacement camps or insecure regions, unable to afford medicine when sickness hits. Without timely treatment, simple conditions become worse and children miss school, mothers endure pain silently, and the cycle of loss deepens.
We will supply medicine kits containing pain relief, antibiotics and basic treatment supplies, and partner with local clinics to cover treatment costs for widows and orphans who cannot afford care. Identified through church-networks in affected zones, each beneficiary will get the medicines they need and monitoring to ensure they receive continued support as needed.
With access to treatment, widows can care for children without fear that illness will set them back further. Orphans regain health, continue education and find some normalcy. As their physical needs are met, they experience hope and belonging again. The support says they are not forgotten, and that their suffering is seen and shared.
