Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank our donors for their kind support toward the Drugs Assistance for Christian Widows and Orphans project. Your generosity brings hope to families who are facing hardship and health challenges. However, the donations received so far will not be enough to start the project. We respectfully appeal for more support so we can begin providing medical assistance to those in urgent need.
Many Christian widows and orphans in Nigeria lost their spouses and parents during violent attacks on their communities. These families now live in displacement camps or insecure areas with limited access to healthcare. When illness occurs, they are often unable to afford medicines or clinic visits. Conditions that could be treated easily may worsen due to lack of timely care.
This project will provide medicine kits containing essential drugs such as pain relief and antibiotics. It will also help cover clinic treatment costs for widows and orphans who cannot afford medical care. Beneficiaries will be identified through church networks in affected areas, and follow-up will help confirm they receive the care they need.
Access to medicines can help widows remain strong enough to care for their children and allow orphans to stay healthy and continue their daily lives. Providing medical support during times of illness can reduce suffering and restore hope for families who have endured loss.
Although we are grateful for the donations received, additional funding is required before distribution of medicines and treatment support can begin. We kindly invite more donors to join this effort and help us reach widows and orphans who are waiting for assistance.
Sincerely,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
