Thank you all for your generous donations towards the Early Childhood Centre in Tajikistan. The renovations of the rooms within the kindergarten are well underway, and it is exciting to see beginnings of what will be welcoming and functional learning spaces. IRODA is committed to providing support to families of young children with autism or developmental delays as early as possible. Each year they have been supporting at least 80 families of young children from rooms within the mainstream school that IRODA offers programs for school aged children from. Staff and families are excitedly anticipating the completed renovations of the rooms within the kindergarten as this will provide a larger space in which to support more children and families. Locating the early childhood program within a local kindergarten will also provide the opportunity for young children with additional needs to be included alongside their peers.
As you will see from the updated photos on our project page the rooms are beginning to take shape. However, to complete the project and open these learning spaces to young children there is still work to be done. We would really appreciate it if you would consider giving additional funds towards the project or sharing IRODA’s work with family or friends who may like to make a donation towards the Early Childhood Centre. We look forward to sharing further updates on the progress made towards welcoming young children into this much needed Early Childhood Centre in Tajikistan.
